Terms and Conditions for the Use of Gift Vouchers

If you are interested in experience-based gift vouchers or already have one, please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions of use set out in this document.

Definition of terms

The terms defined below have the following meanings in this document:

Beneficiary – the person who will benefit from the services included in the gift voucher

Customer – the person who purchases the Gift Voucher; the Customer may also be the Beneficiary of the Gift Voucher

Service Provider – the provider of the experience-based services included in the Gift Voucher

Voucher – the product available in electronic or physical format, generated on the www.stargift.fr platform, which certifies the value of the activities/services to be carried out by the Beneficiary

1. Purchase of the voucher

1.1 Depending on the delivery method selected, the Customer may receive the voucher either electronically or by courier; in the latter case, additional charges for printing/packaging the voucher, as well as delivery charges, may apply.

1.2 Placing an order on the www.stargift.fr platform automatically implies acceptance of the general terms and conditions available on the www.stargift.fr platform, as well as the special terms and conditions included in this document.

2. Payment methods and delivery costs

2.1 Vouchers may be purchased in electronic or physical format, in accordance with the specifications available on the product page. Payment may be made:

• Cash on delivery (COD)
• By bank transfer
• Online card payment

3.2 The electronic voucher is available when paying by card or bank transfer, once the payment has been validated/confirmed.

3. Validity period of the voucher and its use

3.1 The validity of a voucher varies depending on the package selected and is stated in the product details and/or on the voucher.

3.2 The Beneficiary/Customer shall arrange the schedule for the activities by telephone or email, in accordance with the instructions stated on the Voucher and/or in the product description, and subsequently in accordance with the instructions provided by the Service Provider.

3.3 In order for the booking to be confirmed and/or for the Service Provider’s contact details to be provided for the actual booking, the Beneficiary must provide the Voucher ID; The Beneficiary is obliged to present the Voucher in electronic or physical form at the Service Provider’s premises for the purpose of its identification and validation by the Service Provider.

3.4 Failure to use the Voucher within its allocated validity period will result in its deactivation. In this case, the value of the Voucher cannot be refunded.

3.5 The Voucher shall be used in accordance with the booking/usage conditions imposed by the Experience Provider; StarGift accepts no liability should the Service Provider refuse to provide the services due to failure to honour the booking or failure to comply with the conditions communicated by the Service Provider; In such situations, StarGift may only assess the incident and decide, at its own discretion, whether to take action regarding the continuation of its collaboration with the provider in question, depending on the frequency of such incidents.

3.6 The validity period may not be extended or amended without the written consent of StarGift SRL and the Service Provider.

4. Exchange and Return of the Voucher

4.1 StarGift reserves the right to refuse to exchange the voucher for another experience and/or to refund the value of the voucher. These matters will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the experience or services in question.

5. Loss or Damage to the Voucher

5.1 In the event of the loss or damage to the Voucher, the Customer may request the issue of a new voucher in electronic format. StarGift reserves the right to request information regarding the damaged or lost voucher (details required to identify the order) and to assess the situation. In the event of any suspicion regarding the use of the Voucher, StarGift reserves the right to refuse to issue a replacement.

6. General provisions

6.1 Should an experience be unable to be provided by the Service Provider, the Customer may choose another experience or other products available on the www.stargift.fr platform to the value of that experience, subject to the validity period of the original voucher.

6.2 The Customer understands and accepts that StarGift SRL has complete discretion regarding the decision to replace Service Providers should they, for various reasons, no longer be able or willing to fulfil their contractual obligations.

6.3 Both the Customer and the Beneficiary expressly understand and accept that StarGift SRL cannot be held liable for the products or services supplied or provided by the Service Providers. By purchasing and/or using the Voucher available on the StarGift platform, the Customer and/or the Beneficiary release StarGift SRL from liability for any omission, failure to comply with any terms and conditions, or any accidents occurring during the provision of the activities/services included in the Voucher, and shall direct any claims exclusively against the Service Provider.

6.4 By placing an order or presenting the Voucher, the Customer and the Beneficiary express their agreement to the partial or full delivery of the final product by the Experience Provider.

This document is deemed to have been understood and accepted without reservation by visiting the platform and/or ticking the box ‘I agree to the terms and conditions’ when placing an order or completing a form, etc.

This document forms an integral part of, and is supplemented by, the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions (which apply to any purchase) available on the platform www.stargift.fr. In the event of any conflict between the provisions contained in this document and the General Terms and Conditions, the provisions of this document shall prevail.
